Silver

These works produced from 1977-1992 are explorations of photographic reality mutated by the photochemical processes of analog photography. What we understand as "straight" photography is explored and expanded by delving deeper into the possibilities of expression offered by the silver bromide emulsion and the papers it's coated on either mechanically on commercial paper or by hand on watercolor paper, and via manipulations of the other essentials of analog photography: light, multiple negatives and exposures, toning, and scoring of negatives.
