photographic works by Wayne Geist. Within the albums here you will find examples of work dating from the mid 1970's through today. Most of the work derives from emphasizing the transformations that occur through the photographic process. Through these transformations I hope to evoke an experience of discovery. Sometimes meanings are obvious and at other times they are open ended, but I hope to reward repeated viewings. Often I use multiple image montage or collage as one may use words in poetry or notes in a fugue.

Throughout my career as a photographer in the areas of higher education, museums, illustration, and in the corporate world, I've maintained an ongoing fine art practice with work exhibited in museums, galleries, publications, and private collections in the USA, Europe, and Japan.
